What to Do Following a Serious Car or Motorcycle Crash?

Across Missouri, we saw too many serious injuries and too much loss of life. While each crash is unique and the causes vary, the loss of quality of life or life itself is just that–loss. If you were injured in a car crash or a motorcycle crash or if you have a loved one injured or killed, you should seek a consultation as soon as possible BEFORE talking to any insurance adjusters. Obviously, people who are seriously injured should not be trying to talk to insurance companies on the phone right after the crash or in many situations, they simply cannot talk.

Don’t rush to have any conversations with any insurance companies regarding your injuries. And, if you’ve been injured, you are probably medicated. Don’t discuss statements or facts when you are under medication that may impact your memory. Call an injury attorney first. Be sure to take advantage of free consultations from an injury attorney who can assist you in avoiding common mistakes people make following a crash.
